The Matua Room
Matua Room
Named for the Māori word Matua, often used for a mentor, elder or guardian, Matua is a beautifully appointed room designed for rest and retreat. Sink into the Super King bed and unwind in your private ensuite, complete with a walk-in shower and luxurious European-style bathtub. With peaceful garden and semi-ocean views, Matua offers a comfortable place to slow down and enjoy your time at Te Whaanga.

Named after the taniwha, a Māori guardian creature often associated with protection and spiritual presence, this spacious room offers a peaceful place to settle in and unwind.
